InformationOn February 15, in the village of Novinki, near the “Oksky Bereg” housing estate, the 38th mass ski race “Ski Track of Russia 2020” and the 9th Winter Sports Festival took place. The event was opened by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, and then he went skiing and took part in the 10 km race. In addition to the classic runs of 5 and 10 kilometers, a race of honored guests, a team family race, and a race of Nizhny Novgorod companies were also organized. For the first time this year, a race for younger students was organized for Nizhny Novgorod residents. The team of school No. 141 of the city of Nizhny Novgorod, which reached the finish line the fastest, was awarded by Evgeny Morozov, Advisor to the President of the GAZ Group on Social Issues. In total, about 13 thousand Nizhny Novgorod residents of different ages took part in the “Ski Track of Russia 2020”. A large-scale entertainment program with performances by artists, animations for children, competitions with gifts, as well as a field kitchen was organized for all guests and participants of the winter festival. The event was supported by the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod, the “Sports Federation of Ski Racing of the Nizhny Novgorod Region”, the Gorky Automobile Plant, the «Oksky Bereg» housing estate and the ARR GROUP creative association. |
